Schneider Electric is looking for Building Automation Project Manager

What will you do?

The Project Manager is responsible for achieving the project's objectives. You will work closely with the Project Executive, Project Sponsor, and Project Management Team to define the project objectives, create a plan for, and execute the plan to achieve those objectives. The Project Manager has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments in which the project deliverables are created and in which they will be used.

The Project Manager must be an excellent communicator at all levels within the project environment, be proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and be able to adapt to a dynamic and potentially geographically dispersed project environment.

This position is based in the service department and involves managing multiple small to medium-sized projects at the same time. Projects typically have a short duration and can execute through either the construction tier or direct to the end user.

What qualifications will make you successful?Degree in Technical ProgramFour (4) + years related work experience requiredUnderstanding of and proficiency in project management skillsManagement of multiple projects at the same timeWorking knowledge of ISO requirementsComplete understanding of HVAC, Building Automation, and Electronic Control SystemsBasic understanding of network infrastructure and network communication systemsAbility to analyze control systems drawings and schematicsExcellent time management and organization skillsProficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Professional Scheduling ProgramsFinancial acumen and understandingExcellent customer serviceLeadership skills: team building, empower and delegate authority, ability to build rapport and consensusAdvanced knowledge of contract law, codes, standards, and industry construction knowledgeStrong written and verbal communication skills
