Supply/Distribution Chain/Materials Management Manager/Director
(manufacturing industry) to lead all aspects (i.e. both strategy and execution) of this part of their business/operation. Position offers a unique leadership opportunity to:Lead/manage a mid-sized team of experienced professionals and have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing and entrepreneurial culture/work environment.Work across the organization in establishing the long-term materials planning strategy for the business and optimizing daily execution levels to achieve the ideal supply continuity and drive best practices across the materials organization.Support functional areas including development/implementation of end-to-end supply chain strategy, planning (demand), scheduling, production control, inventory management, warehouse operations, shipping (including load planning), receiving, and overall material flow throughout the business.Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to identify and address materials-related issues and lead the supply planning process as part of the integrated business planning system, which includes collaboration and alignment with other business and functional leaders.Further leverage the use of ERP technology.Salary: $140-$180K, 20% +/- bonus potential, very attractive benefit package, work/life balance and culture/work environment.
