SAP Functional Consultant (San Diego, CA):
Responsibilities:
Work in Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Customer Service and Sales & Distribution along with integration of other related modules.Serve as a critical resource in the solution architect team for project implementation and ongoing support.Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to design application solutions by analyzing functional requirements, studying and creatively leveraging standard SAP capabilities, proposing configuration specifications and configuring application.Functionalize the interfaces (both asynchronous and synchronous) between non-SAP and SAP systems for the business processes.Provide solutions in mobile and web applications to the business for various business processes.Lead the system and process enhancement requests with smoother releases and minimal issues.Provide reporting capability to the business team for their day-to-day activities as well as monthly/yearly bookkeeping.Provide end-to-end solutions in various processes in SAP for warranty and contract setups, entitlements for preventive maintenance, customer complaints, work order processing, quality management, sales, and servicing, etc.Lead the testing team in developing test plans and performing tests of the developed solutions.Conduct various implementation steps including data load activities, cutover activities, production support activities, etc.Train users of various SAP solutions.Requirements:
MS in science, engineering, computer science, or a related field plus 1 year of experience in occupations with similar duties/technical capabilities using HPQC, LucidChart, LoadRunner, SQL Queries, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, ValGenesis, SAP FIORI, and eCATT.Must be willing to relocate to unanticipated locations across the US based on the needs of client(s), which could range from 0-2 times a year.
