OT999: 1CP - Farmington, CT One Carrier Place, Farmington, CT, 06032 USAThe Transfer Pricing (“TP”) Director is responsible for supporting Otis in developing, implementing, documenting, and defining global TP policies. To be successful in this role, an individual must have strong analytical skills, possess significant TP experience, and be able to manage complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

Work together with the tax leadership team to establish TP policies consistent with Otis’ business facts.Lead implementation of TP policies.Serve as project manager and work with cross-functions/external advisors to manage implementation process efficiently.Lead global TP documentation process, including preparation of Master File, CBCR, Local Files, and other local documentation requirements focused on TP matters.Support controversy team in managing TP related matters at different stages of the controversy cycle (i.e., tax authorities information requests, tax audits, controversy, and dispute resolution mechanisms – e.g., Advance Pricing Agreements).Provide ad-hoc TP support to different stakeholders within the Otis organization, including Treasury, FP&A, Controllers, and other teams within the Tax department.Basic Qualifications:

15+ years of related tax experience, including 8 years in TP function.Strong technical understanding of TP rules, and interactions with other tax rules.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally and with external advisors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.Strong research and analytical skills.Excellent quantitative and tax-modeling skills.Good business judgement and creative problem-solving skills.Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and balance multiple projects.Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines.Education and Certifications:

A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or accounting is required.Advanced related degrees (JD, MST, MBA) preferred.CPA or CFA certification preferred.
