A top contender in the tech space is growing their accounting team and looking for an Accounting Manager!ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain consistent accounting practices across portfolio companiesEnsure timely and accurate month-end accounting closes for portfolio companies and holding companyPrepare consolidated financial reports for holding companyDevelop reports to inform portfolio company leaders of financial performance and opportunitiesSupport the financial onboarding of newly acquired companies and their finance leadersSupport audit and tax workstreams for the holding company and its portfolio companiesLead and/or assist organization-wide initiatives (system migrations, improving processes & controls, compliance with accounting guidelines, metrics tracking, etc.)Qualifications:4+ years of public or private accounting, and/or private equity experience, with increasing responsibilityKnowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience preparing financial statements for public or GAAP-compliant private companyExperience with financial auditsData and Excel mastery, able to turn numbers into actionable business insights, proficient at modeling and budgetingAbility to lead projects with multiple stakeholdersExceptional verbal and written communicator with ability to work across all levels of the organizationHighly detail orientedSelf-aware and collaborative team playerCPA or CMA certification a plusPrivate equity experience a plusPosted:
