Overview:We are seeking talent to help lead us to victory in 2024. We are assisting state parties by collecting resumes and applications for key roles to help elect Democrats up and down the ticket. We are looking for highly motivated, passionate, and talented Deputy Data Directors to build winning, data-informed operations in battleground states across the country in 2024. We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America. These roles are with individual state parties, who will be responsible for all hiring decisions, salary, and specific job duties.These roles will be based in states across the country, and will require in-person work.Key Responsibilities:Independently manage and execute analytics and data projectsSupport the coaching and mentoring of teammatesWork closely with internal and external stakeholdersDesign and build reports and tools for teams across the campaign in-line with key programmatic prioritiesUse SQL and dbt to transform data for use by analystsUse Python or other scripting languages to automate repetitive tasksPreferred Skills & Qualifications:1+ year using SQL professionallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailA desire to ask questions, receive constructive feedback, and grow as a professionalA desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problemsCommitment to equity and inclusion in working with staff and other stakeholdersAdditional Useful Skills & Qualifications:Experience managing projects and/or peopleExpert-level Google Sheets experienceExperience using VAN and other organizing toolsExperience using visualization/dashboarding toolsDue to FEC regulations, only U.S. citizens or U.S. green card holders are eligible to apply for this role.
