Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary:Performs a wide variety of laboratory tests by manual methods or use of various automated, mechanical or electronic devices. Performs the full range of duties from specimen procurement through data analysis and reporting, in order to provide data for use in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease in all areas of the lab. Is accountable for accurate results.
What It Takes to be SuccessfulRequired Qualifications:Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobMust be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as requiredMust be willing to testify in court regarding testing activities if subpoenaedKnowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and formsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishCurrent CA CLS LicenseAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
