Tax Manager
to join their New Jersey based tax team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping tax strategy and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.Responsibilities:Responsible for all domestic tax matters including provision, compliance, indirect taxes, and special projects as needed.Oversee the preparation of Federal and state income tax returns, federal consolidated returns, reporting, extensions, and estimated payments.Participate in quarterly and annual US GAAP income tax provision.Manage and respond to external tax consultants/vendors, IRS, and other authorities.Perform tax research on an as-needed basis with respect to federal and state income tax, payroll tax, and property tax.Stay updated on tax laws and actively participate in professional development.Manage and mentor tax associates.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.CPA or Master’s Degree preferred.5+ years of experience with federal and state income tax prep and review.Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Excel, and tax software.Experience with tax software including Corptax, SAP, HFM, Corptax, and/or Alteryx preferred.Strong management, analytical, and communication skills.About our Client:Technology, Business Services.Workplace Policy:
