Boost win rates, increase average deal size, and increase revenue per rep with Gong, the #1 Revenue Intelligence platform.As a Lead Sales Engineer on the Enterprise team, you will fill a key role in ensuring our prospects and customers have a high quality experience when evaluating and purchasing Gong products. Sales Engineers at Gong are not your typical SEs who give demos day in and day out. We are strategic resources deployed to solve complex use cases when no one else can.RESPONSIBILITIES

Aligned to our enterprise business unit, you will work alongside Sales and Customer Success as the ultimate product expert and account team technical advisor.Thoroughly understand all aspects of the Gong platform in order to explain and demo the technology to all types of users.Be the trusted advisor to both prospects and customers to ensure they get the correct business outcome and value from our Gong technology.Expertly demonstrate how Gong’s platform can solve prospect/customer needs and help them achieve their desired business outcomes.Partner with Sales to perform use case discovery sessions to uncover company’s desired business outcomes and pain points.Assist prospects and customers with POCs and Pilots.Execute the build and delivery of solution based demos/solution architecture diagrams for customers that have highly complex use cases.Craft content to show customers how to leverage Gong for specific use cases.Solution complex business and technical requirements and explain them in simple terms.Assist with RFPs and questionnaires in the context of sales cycles.Help eliminate bottlenecks by working cross functionally (Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product Management, Engineering) in order to get deals across the line.Partner with and support Marketing on demand gen activities (webinars, conferences, events).Contribute reusable assets to the Sales Engineering team and the company at-large.Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Product Management and Engineering to share voice of the customer feedback in order to influence our product roadmap and GTM strategies.QUALIFICATIONS

7-10 years of customer facing experience in a sales engineering (pre-sales) role or combination of sales engineering and other relevant work experience.Ability to expertly demonstrate to a business-level audience how a company can achieve its desired business outcomes.A passion to serve the customer, which has played out in customer-facing pre-sales/sales roles; ideally sales engineering.Experience with sales technology (CRMs), cloud architecture, or telephony/web conferencing systems.Experience with data flows, AI/ML concepts, analytics, APIs/webhooks, or JSON.Understanding of security and privacy pertaining to SaaS systems.Industry knowledge of our key markets and personas (technology, business services and financing, staffing & recruiting | Sales, Sales Ops, Customer Success and other GTM functions).Business understanding of GTM sales teams and processes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.Passion for technology and problem solving.Able to make the complex sound simple!
