About the Role:Our client, located in Miami, Florida, is looking for a dedicated Finance Operations professional. This is a permanent role within the finance department, crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective management of financial activities. The ideal candidate will guarantee the correct processing of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring adherence to the company's policies and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.Key Responsibilities:Prepare periodic financial reports and analyze significant variations against the company’s budget and historical data.Execute and monitor daily financial transactions, including payments, bank reconciliations, and accounting records.Manage the periodic reconciliation of accounts payable with supplier account statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions, including issuing invoices, tracking outstanding payments, and applying received payments in the accounting system.Reconcile bank accounts regularly to ensure the integrity and consistency of the company’s financial records.Contribute to the development and implementation of systems and processes aimed at improving operational efficiency and financial reporting accuracy.Participate in process improvement projects and initiatives related to financial systems.Support finance-led initiatives to drive performance improvement, compliance adherence, and process standardization.Assist in financial audits conducted by external auditors and regulatory agencies.Ensure appropriate controls and segregation of duties are embedded in daily processes to mitigate risk.Provide financial data and analysis to support actuarial calculations and assumptions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.8 years of general experience in accounting or financial analysis, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Strong knowledge of taxation, accounting principles, and financial procedures and regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, Blackline, Power BI, and Oracle.Competencies in strategic vision, planning and organization, leadership, and impact and influence.Why Join Us?
