By aligning technology with our overarching business vision, we consistently position Vantage at the forefront of innovation and market competitiveness.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Head of IT is a key leadership role entrusted with directing the IT strategy for our internal use. This leader will supervise the design, deployment, and maintenance of our technological systems, ensuring unparalleled uptime and peak performance. A strong emphasis will be placed on ensuring compliance with industry standards, notably ISO27001:2022, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, and NIST 800-82, guaranteeing robust security and operational excellence. Through close collaboration with various departments, they'll align IT initiatives with the broader organizational objectives. Leading a dedicated team of IT specialists, they will champion skill enhancement and innovation. Their overarching goal will be to maintain a resilient infrastructure that consistently meets and exceeds industry benchmarks.RESPONISBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Strategic IT Leadership:

Develop and execute IT strategies that align with the organization’s overall objectives, overseeing technology implementations that drive efficiency and competitive advantage.Infrastructure Oversight:

Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networks, and virtualization environments to ensure high availability and performance.Cloud Management:

Lead the adoption and management of cloud solutions, particularly Azure and Microsoft 365, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.Team Management:

Direct and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Establish clear team goals and KPIs that align with the organization’s IT strategy.Budget and Resource Allocation:

Manage the IT budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to projects and operations that yield the best ROI.Security and Compliance:

Implement comprehensive IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and IT assets. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly ISO27001 and NIST 800-82.Vendor Management:

Negotiate with technology vendors and service providers to secure software, hardware, and consulting services that meet the company's needs at favorable terms.Innovation and Improvement:

Stay abreast of new technology trends and IT best practices, incorporating innovative solutions into the IT framework to enhance business operations.Stakeholder Engagement:

Work closely with senior management and cross-functional leaders to ensure IT strategies and projects align with business needs and deliver tangible results.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Five to eight years of experience in managing IT operations across multiple disciplines such as server environments, networking, storage solutions, and virtualization with a minimum team size of 5-10 peopleStrong knowledge of Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, and Intune, including deployment, management, and optimization.Experience in managing IT budgets and resources effectively.Robust understanding of IT security practices and regulatory compliance requirements, particularly ISO27001:2022, SOC 2, NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-82.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:Master’s degree or MBA.Advanced certifications in relevant IT disciplines (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, CISSP).Proven track record in developing IT strategies and successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.Extensive experience in vendor management, including negotiating contracts and managing relationships.Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.Experience in leading IT transformations or large-scale IT infrastructure projects.The pay range for this role is between $170,000 - $200,000 (base). Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons.
