The Role – Lead Product Designer, Integrated Experiences
Chegg’s Learning Services org builds personalized learning tools that help students understand material, prep for exams, and gain confidence in their ability to take on any course. As we venture into redefining student support with cutting-edge AI innovations, we’re on the lookout for a Lead Product Designer with a unique blend of grit, determination, and creativity to conceptualize & execute on a cohesive product experience that binds various learning tools together.
We need a designer who excels in complex systems thinking and can drive alignment with cross functional teams to create user-friendly & inspired design solutions. Your expertise will drive the design strategy, ensuring consistency and coherence across various platforms and touchpoints. Generating hypotheses, analyzing data, and experimenting ways to connect users to value should excite you.

Core Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the product, marketing, engineering, and business teams to design a cohesive product experienceIncorporate performance metrics, data insights, and user research into design decisions for product experiences.Deliver delightful and impactful designs that bring our brand to life across the product experience and exhibit a high level of craft and refinement.Communicate and present design decisions in compelling and creative ways, bridging alignment across the working team and other stakeholders.Develop expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products, stay informed on emerging design trends and tools, and share innovative ideas and opportunities with the team.Foster and nurture a culture of design excellence, collaboration, and openness that places a strong emphasis on craftmanship and product quality while encouraging creativity and inspiration at every step of the design process.
Key Qualifications
7+ years as a Product Designer or User Experience Designer crafting delightful customer experiences that drive business results.Experience designing for responsive web and mobile apps.Exceptional in thinking and designing holistically to create a coherent product experience.Strong visual, UI, and interaction design skills.Thorough knowledge of visual design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and information hierarchy.Strong presenter and compelling storyteller with the ability to evangelize new ideas.Proven skills in creating dynamic interactive prototypes.Relentless attention to detail and consistency.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in designing consumer-facing products.Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.Bachelor's or master's degree in design or related field.
The pay range for this position is $125,341 to $232,777. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
