Sussex County Community College is looking to build a pool of qualified applicants to teach an
in-person, on campus , Introduction to Business and Management & Org Behavior courses in the upcoming
Fall 2024
semester. Future semesters may require in-person day and evening sections as well as online. The College is seeking Adjunct Instructors for the following Business courses:
Introduction to Business and Management & Organizational Behavior, and Macroeconomics.Current Course Needs:
Classes run on Tuesday and Thursday between 10am and 3pm. Classes start on September 3rd, 2024.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree or related degree in Business or related discipline with a strong focus on business and management.Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations:
Expertise in teaching, accounting, business, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, online/remote teaching, advanced certifications, or license, and a flexible schedule (morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend courses may be available). Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills needed. 3+ years of applicable experience and prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use for our online and remote teaching is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform is preferred. Although not a requirement, strong technical and computer proficiency is recommended.Prior teaching experience and knowledge of online instruction strongly preferred.NJ, NY, and PA residence recommended.Availability to travel to campus as necessary.To Apply:Please submit a cover letter and resume/CV to HRresume@sussex.edu.
