GlassesUSA.com is looking for an experienced Optical Lab Manager with high volume fitting experience to join our growing team. As an Optical Lab Manager, you will be responsible for the assembly and production, inspection, and quality production of optical lenses and frames, as well as maintaining and meeting production goals, employee supervision and development, and ensuring smooth operation of the production team and machinery. This role requires an individual with excellent hand-eye coordination, great attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment, as well as experience managing a team of 15 or more individuals.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of management, specifically lab and production management experience required.

2 years minimum prior optical assembly experience required.

Machine Operation experience required, specifically CNC machinery (Racers).

High school GED.

Previous experience in the optical field or optical assembly and manufacturing of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses required.

Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Able to provide training and personal development to employees on their team, such as setting and counseling on performance metrics, professional development, and/or mediation and discipline.

Delegates projects to individuals to develop skills.

An individual capable of improving operations and efficiency of production team.

Responsible for multiple projects and tasks, and able to prioritize effectively.

Ensuring that production team is meeting all compliance, quality assurance, and safety standards.

Job Type:

Full-time. On site.

Location:

College Park, GA (Greater Atlanta Area).

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays.

9-Hour Shifts, 8 AM - 5 PM.
