This position will drive the transformation by collaborating and working closely with businesses, functions, Application Architects, Supplier Architects/Developers, Cloud Vendor Architects, and Information Technology (IT) Architects such as Security. The Architecture manager will be leading the team of Data and Cloud Architects/Developers and Supplier Architects/Developers building solutions that include system design, technology selection, solution design, process design, and execution. This position will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other common service functions, interact with the most innovative and diverse people around the globe.Position Responsibilities:Defines and builds the strategy for the data and analytics platforms both on-prem and cloud and work with the business to ensure all the business requirements are metDrives simplification and consolidation of our data architecture and data systems – address tech debt, bring stability in critical systemsBuilds and develops a resilient foundation for collecting, storing, modelling, and analyzing massive data sets from multiple sourcesLeads activities to define requirements, design and verify robust data and cloud architecture for the data and analytics platforms and on-prem platformsLeads the identification of design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirementsEnsures architecture functions are incorporated into software development lifecycle and also ensures that the team leads the development and configuration management of architecture views and modelsAssesses feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives and looks at the trends in industry and best  practices and world class solutionsPerforms trade-off analysesEvaluates products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environmentsAssesses impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycleDevelops architecture and data/information management standards and strategiesImplements governance structures and frameworks on the platforms including security of the platformsCoaches and mentors othersThis position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher10+ years of experience with web application architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or cloud based development10+ years of experience in hands-on software development including applications running in AWS, Azure, or GCP10+ years of experience working with Cloud native development3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadershipExperience with the configuration of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for data ingestionExperience with data integration development and maintenanceExperience in application integration, APIs and MicroservicesExperience with Information Technology architecture including cloud and data architecture in a large-scale, hybrid cloud and on-prem environmentExperience training machine learning models in a cloud computing environment such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc. and fundamental knowledge in MLOpsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams3+ years of experience using planning tools to build roadmapsExperience leading cloud teams or architecture teams or similarRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
