Sales Account Executive

We’re looking for an Account Executive to develop and maintain relationships by visiting hospitals and academic medical centers within the assigned territory. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and fostering relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers while selling medical device products and acting as the point of contact for post-sale, service satisfaction, retention, and business growth. You will become a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals, procurement and biomedical engineers. This position will report to the VP, Global Sales.
Your responsibilities as an Account Executive will include:
Achieve and exceed the sales target for the territory.You must be able to structure, present and manage the conceptual sales process for the innovative products of ivWatch.Meet routinely with VP, Global Sales regarding account progress, call patterns, strategies and market dynamics. Build and present an annual business plan and quarterly reviews of all accounts.Provide sales forecasts - develop sales forecasts for assigned territory through analysis and interpretation of general economics, industry, marketing and sales data to assist with operational planning, inventories, pricing and budgetary requirements.Manage clinical evaluations within the territory to ensure the best opportunity for successBe an expert in the field of PIV delivery and its complications, to be able to educate our customers of the clinical benefits of our products. To be able to articulate the health economic rationale for our products.Document all communications and planned activities in company’s CRM system. Keep CRM system fully updated with weekly activities and actions by close of play every Friday.Travel extensively in performance of duties; this travel may fall on weekends and be outside of assigned territory/region.Minimum qualifications, skills, competencies or experience:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, life science or related fieldClinical background with infusion or vascular access experience requiredMore than five years of medical device sales with experience in both capital and consumable salesExceptional verbal and written communications and presentation skillsCreatively provide and negotiate solutions to help hospitals make purchasing commitments and contract negotiations.Ability to meet credentialing requirements upon hire.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.Self-motivation, taking on additional responsibilities without being asked and managing priorities with minimal supervision.Willing to work the hours needed to complete the tasks including extensive travel, approximately 75% of time as needed
