The Senior Export Compliance Officer’s primary responsibility will be developing and delivering training and communications. In addition, the individual will be responsible for supporting audits, providing guidance to Honeywell personnel in business and functional roles on complying with U.S. export laws and regulations; and enhancing the function’s overall export compliance program. Specific areas of focus include:Developing, reviewing, updating, and implementing comprehensive export compliance training to drive the Company’s overall compliance with export laws and regulationsHosting and delivering export compliance training to the business and functional employeesCoordinating and facilitating monthly team all hands meetings/town hallsDeveloping communications related to export compliance requirements, regulatory changes, process improvements, training opportunities, etc. via email, through training, and other communication vehiclesProviding export guidance to Honeywell’s business teams – both strategic and tacticalAssisting in the implementation of the comprehensive export compliance procedures and forms to drive the Company’s overall compliance with export laws and regulationsSupporting the Export Compliance investigations team in investigating and resolving compliance problems, questions, or complaintsPerforming or supporting export related testing and monitoring including facilitation of data gathering requestsSupporting the development and implementation of compliance metrics, key performance indicators, and key risk indicatorsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, edit, communicate trainingTracking training metrics and training completions through online systemsDevelop and share communications from the functionSupport audits, transaction testing, metrics gatheringProvide guidance on export regulationsCommunicate clearly with business and functional personnel on export-related mattersYOU MUST HAVE2 years of experience working for a multinational company or a U.S. defense contractorU.S. Person status as defined by the ITARWE VALUEBachelor’s Degree or a minimum of one year export compliance experienceKnowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR)One (1) year of export compliance experienceExperience with auditsStrong writing skillsExperience in drafting procedures, forms, reports, contracts, agreements, licenses, or presentationsProactive, well-organized, highly motivatedAbility to present to small and large groups with participants from various levelsAbility to work independently once tasks are assignedAptitude for complianceExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsExperience working in a compliance-related role, especially one involving export compliance, is a plusDetailed knowledge of the export regulations (ITAR and EAR), is plusExperience with MS OfficeExperience with developing or using digital toolsAdditional InformationJOB ID:
