Johnstone Supply is looking for a driven individual to join our counter team—a high-energy, attention-to-detail candidate who can engage with customers with the highest level of customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Counter Sales Associate include, but are not limited to:
Customer Service
Greet customers and assist them in locating the products they needAnswer questions about HVAC products, prices, availability, and usageHandle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely mannerProvide recommendations and guidance to customers based on their specific requirementsProvide accurate information regarding the availability of in-stock itemsSales Support
Process sales transactions accurately using the POS systemGenerate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptlyCalculate and quote process, discounts, and applicable taxesUpsell additional products or services to customersFollow up on sales leads and inquiries to generate additional businessTechnical Assistance
Assist customers with technical questions or issues related to HVAC productsRefer complex technical inquiries to TSAAdministrative Tasks
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory movementsAssist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and phone/email correspondenceInventory Management
Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to managementAssist in stocking shelves and organizing inventoryBENEFITS

Required
A high school diploma or equivalent is requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computers and different software programsMust be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift, and carry items up to 75 poundsPreferred
2 + years of experience in customer service or salesDesired
