Marketing Coordinator
Reports to:
Marketing Manager
Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School through our social media platforms, relationships with local groups, schools, businesses, and events, providing a positive representation within the community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the quality and success of our social media platforms and serves as a positive representative in the community.
Builds relationships with local groups, schools, businesses, and event operators to foster beneficial partnerships.
Uses creativity to promote Goldfish Swim School on social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, by creating content, responding to comments and messages, and interacting with like-minded businesses and community partners while keeping up to date with social media changes and trends.
Trains and oversees a team for water safety presentations and events, coordinating staffing with GM/AGM.
Oversees outreach, correspondence, and execution of water safety presentations.
Manages the Marketing Tracking Spreadsheet.
Manages the marketing calendar and website event calendar.
Responsible for event lead follow-up through podium and Wave.
Creates in-school signage.
Attends community events and brings the Bubbles mascot into the community for photo opportunities and community relations.
Proficient with iClass Pro and Salesforce (Wave).
Cross-trained with swim instructor and front desk positions.
Maintains relationships with Parent Ambassadors, tracks their activity, and assists with holding them accountable to their contracts.
Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills are required. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills are essential. Knowledgeable with Facebook and Instagram.
Certificates and Licenses:
CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required. Lifeguard certifications are highly recommended.
Work Environment:
While performing this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to heat and humidity. The noise level is usually moderate.
