At the confluence of the Ohio and Scioto rivers 80 miles to Columbus 110 miles to Cincinnati Board Certified/Board Eligible Minimally Invasive/Robotics trained Urologist to serve as Senior Medical Director of our hospital employed Urology group. Office Hours/Work Schedule o Monday Thursday 8:00a-4:30p; Friday 8:00a 12noon o Final office hours will be determined by OR block time and inpatient consult volume Staffing o 1 LPN o 1 MOA o 1 Surgery scheduler o As the practice grows and new physician and APP s are added we will increase staff. Our minimum nursing is typically 1:1. Call Schedule/CERP (if applicable): o Shared with local private Urologist o Call will be 1:3 when fully staffed. Case Load o 20-30 patients/day o Procedures average 8/day. SMD will work with team to determine case load. o Physician will have ability to do Cysto Ureteroscopy with Fluoroscopy, Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy, Cystoscopy RGP w/Fluoro Bladder Biopsy, Cysto Transurethral Resection Prostate, Hydrocelectomy, Cysto TURP Bipolar, Interstim Removal. o Office procedures include Vasectomy, Cystoscopy, and Prostate Biopsy Equipment o Office equipment: Trophon Machine and Ultrasound Machine o Hospital equipment - We have a standalone Urology suite. It has a fixed Siemens Uroskop Omnia max table. Olympus rigid and flexible scopes. Lumenis Pulse Moses Holmium laser. Boston Scientific Lithoclast. Stryker camera system. Gyrus PK Super Pulse SE. o Will purchase Robotic Surgical System Practice Expectations o Desire to build comprehensive Urology program o Highly motivated candidate that is excited for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a community with a great need for a Urologist.
