Join Brynn Marr Hospital's dynamic team as a Psychiatrist! We are actively seeking an energetic, compassionate, and self-motivated individual to contribute to our outstanding psychiatric care services in eastern North Carolina. This full-time Medical Director Physician position offers a Monday – Friday schedule, with responsibilities covering patient care in both inpatient and residential treatment programs.Requirements:
MD/DO degree from an accredited programBoard certified in Psychiatry (required)Board certified in C/A Psychiatry (preferred)Licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina or ability to obtain licensureMinimum of five years of practice experienceManagement experience preferredMeets all credentialing criteria required by participating physiciansKey Skills & Abilities:
Strategic vision setting with measurable outcomes for Psychiatric Department developmentBuilding a collaborative and supportive culture for the medical programStrong management and proven leadership skillsOrganization and facilitation of meetings and outcomesCommitment to stewardship in both medical management and business realityStrong business acumen related to psychiatric operations, finance, and decision-makingAs a highly visible and active role, the Medical Director position includes:Supervision of other physicians, nurse practitioners and clinical staffProgram developmentParticipation in Medical Staff and Executive Team committees and meetingsInvolvement in quality improvement initiatives, risk management, and service utilization managementBrynn Marr Hospital is a 102-bed facility serving children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing therapy, programming, and medication management for treatment.
