RAPP Chicago is looking for a VP of Client Leadership to join our award-winning Account Leadership team.WHO WE ARE:

Our team in Chicago is an integral part of Team DDB, an integrated agency team created by Omnicom to develop and deliver state-of-the-art marketing solutions geared towards recruiting best-in-class candidates for the US Army. We are building a modernized platform to target, attract, manage and nurture prospects interested in joining the US Army via state of the art customer experiences, as well as bolster the strength of the mission critical organization protecting our borders. We’re building and configuring marketing technology and communications to drive personalization across the entire recruitmentjourney.

Part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets.
YOUR ROLE:
You will serve as business, team, and integration lead with the ability to provide strategic and solution leadership at every turn. Your team encompasses not only direct reports within Account Leadership, but cross-functional colleagues and senior level clients (SVP and CMO level), as well as Omnicom inter-agency team leaders. You will provide guidance to the day-to-day teams and senior leaders responsible for managing our clients’ business as well as build relationships with the most senior clients in our portfolio to identify opportunities for transformation and growth and be a trusted advisor as they lead their teams. You will drive the vision and operating model for how we deliver transformation at scale across RAPP and integrated agency partners and across RAPP, and effectively influence the strategies including how to position them in the context the future state roadmap of the client. You will also educate client teams to ensure that they are delivering state-of-the-art counsel and content to their clients that aligns to RAPP, Omnicom Precision Marketing Group, and overall Omnicom value propositions. You will serve as an agency leader and contribute significantly to the performance and revenue of the account.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client - Growth
Serve as the integrated Inter-Agency Team Lead across Omnicom Performance Marketing Group, leading and managing the integrated proposition and growth strategy for the practice
Set multi-year engagement plan with an effort to maintain or growth scope
Directly apply horizontals and products across agency teams to strategize to deliver on transformation and growth as aligned to client objectives
Drive organic growth, identifying, and opening new revenue streams
Participate in new business efforts, leading the brief, internal team, and client/prospect
Develop agency capability and broaden our offering through clients’ growth
Client - Partnership
Inspire and build integrated roadmaps with agency partners to deliver marketing transformation across the integrated agency teams
Understand client business and ensure roadmaps are aligned to strategic business direction
Strategically build client trust and effectively facilitate/negotiate for business growth
Collaborate with the strategy and marketing science teams to garner market, customer and funnel insights and utilize them to guide optimizations across the marketing funnel
Hold Creative, Strategy, Marketing Sciences, and Technology teams accountable to deliver against client roadmaps and course correct as necessary
Partner closely with Portfolio Lead, Client Service, Experience Strategy and other relevant leaders to ensure teams are working in an integrated manner to deliver against client goals
Team - Build, Lead, Mentor, Network
Provide hands-on inspirational strategic leadership and guidance for teams by directly demonstrating how to apply strategic practices to our work
Keep the Portfolio Lead & US Lead, Account Leadership apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business
Set high talent standards, develop, coach, and mentor talent to grow our capabilities in the marketing personalization and transformation space
Build and nurture strategic relationships with decision makers and influencers in the client organization as well as key decision makers across Inter Agency Team agencies
REQUIRED SKILLS:
12-15+ years general management experience.
Experience in advertising/digital marketing.
Experience with CRM.
Experience in managing organizations or multi-client services teams.
Experience in the application of multi-channel marketing programs in the areas of customer acquisition, retention, nurturing and optimization.
Established track record of successful financial growth for a business.
Experience working with US Army or other DoD Agency a plus.
Experience working with financial services a plus.
Experience working within Agile teams or implementing Agile methodologies a plus.
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Must have leadership, coaching and mentoring qualities.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written skills.
Strong managerial skills – focus and commitment to talent development.
