He/she will be a generalist of sorts, familiar with all areas of the restaurant and possessing the ability to coordinate all processes and operations throughout. The role of General Manager is quite demanding, requiring a high level of managerial, communication, and leadership skills. The General Manager must be confident and responsible at all times in managing and leading the rest of their team while maintaining a calm composure during often times of high pressure and stressful situations.What you’ll do:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee the daily operations for the entire restaurant seven days a week.Meet restaurant financial objectives by analyzing and controlling budgets.Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.Provide direct management of key functional managers ensuring smooth operations at all times.Attract patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluate results; identify and track changing demands.Control purchases and inventory; review and evaluate usage reports; analyze variances; take corrective actions.Maintain operations by executing and enforcing all company policies and standard operating procedures; implement production, productivity, quality, and patron-service standards.Accomplish restaurant and bar objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff; communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions.Maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; comply with health and legal regulations; maintain security systems.What we need from you:Must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience in a similar role in the restaurant industry.Must be flexible with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs.Must have reliable transportation to/from work.Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.What you’ll get from us:Salary dependent on experience.Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Paid Time Off to support you with an active life outside of work.Life Insurance.Employee Assistance Program to support overall mental wellbeing.Exclusive access to primary care, mental health, and other healthcare services through United Healthcare.Matched 401(k) to help you invest in your future.Location(s):
