The California Labor & Employment Group of Reed Smith LLP is currently seeking a sophisticated, experienced mid-level associate to join the Firm's Labor & Employment Practice Group resident in either the Los Angeles or San Francisco office. The candidate must be a licensed California attorney and have employment litigation experience, including single plaintiff cases and wage and hour class actions at a mid to large defense law firm.The candidate must also be familiar with Federal Court Rules and E-Discovery specifically Relativity. Excellent writing and analytical skills are required, along with experience handling multiple cases and serving as the point person on litigation, including coordinating with other associates and staff and acting as the client contact.Demonstrated project management skills are essential, as the candidate must be able to take a case and run with it. Deposition and/or courtroom experience is required, and employment advice and counseling experience are also desired. Candidates should possess solid academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
