Our accomplished faculty collaborate with students to explore interdisciplinary questions and produce innovative research that lays the foundation for future personal and professional success.The Department of Psychology at Hofstra University invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, beginning in September 2025. The positions are primarily for the M.A. Program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and the Ph.D. Program in Applied Organizational Psychology, although some undergraduate teaching is available as well.In addition to graduate and possibly undergraduate teaching in I/O areas, the position requires the development of a research program and supervision of doctoral student research. The successful applicant will have completed a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related area and will demonstrate a strong record of accomplishment in research and teaching, commensurate with rank. Applicants for the position should have strong expertise in research methods and statistics and one or more specialty areas of I/O Psychology.Applicants are expected to have:Completed a PhD in Psychology or a closely related field by August 1, 2025.A strong emphasis in the area of Industrial/Organizational psychology, with a research focus that is primarily separate from our current faculty expertise.A strong background in research methodology and statistics.Demonstrated commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in an educational environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated success in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate classes, particularly research methods and statistics.Evidence of scholarship in the form of publications or other appropriate items based on career stage.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:To apply, please submit the following documents to
