BH Medical Director/Psychiatrist
to join the team in
Indianapolis, IN.
In this role, you will be reviewing clinical records to render approval/denial/partial approval of requested services (inpatient psych stay, outpatient mental health services, applied behavioral analysis (ABA), substance use disorder treatment, PRTF). The population is everyone.
Position : Behavioral Health Medical Director-Psychiatrist or HSPP (Remote U.S.)
Location : REMOTE - must be commutable to Indianapolis, IN for hearings, etc.
Schedule : M-F, day shifts (Full time - W2)
RequirementsPsychiatrist (MD/DO) or Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP) (Ph.D.) with a current non-restricted license to practice medicine by the Board of Medical Examiners in the State of Indiana.Board certification in a clinical specialty.Utilization Management review experience.Experience as a physician executive with significant accomplishments in developing managed care strategies, integrating delivery systems, improving quality and utilization management programs, and coaching medical staff on healthcare business and practice issues.A strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review.
