General Endocrinology - Physician - Manhattan, NY

The Mount Sinai Health System seeks Endocrinologist at Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Doctors Downtown.The endocrinologists would provide clinical care in the outpatient and inpatient setting for patients with all endocrine conditions. As such, the candidates should have demonstrated interest and documented experience in care for all endocrine conditions including diabetes, obesity, pituitary, bone and thyroid, teaching and clinical research activities. The endocrinologists would join an established team of 20 physicians as well as a multi-disciplinary team comprised of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered dieticians, and certified diabetes educators. The endocrinologists also play an important role in educating Endocrinology fellows and medical residents. Collaboration across specialties and an interest in clinical and/or translational research are expected.
