We are looking for an infrastructure focused and action oriented leader to continue our rapid growth by managing and growing a motivated, collaborative team of top-notch talent.The Director of Capacity Forecasting will be responsible to produce long term projections for network capacity within and between our data centers globally. A successful leader in this role will develop strong partnerships with Demand Planning, Hardware Planning, Network Capacity Execution, and Connectivity Planning to ensure the Capacity projection is aligned with the business outlook. This role will report to the Sr Director of Infrastructure Growth Management within the OCI Infrastructure Capacity organization, and will be responsible for:Producing 12 - 18 month+ network forecasts for: Network fabrics, FastConnect, Backbone, Metro, and Internet capacityLeverage data science team to run scenario, impact and risk analysisMaintain cadence with all stakeholders to ensure planning accuracyEnsure long term plan and inventory strategy is integrated with data center capacity planningAutomating and improving the capacity planning process and methodologyLead team of 3-4 strategic plannersQualifications7-10 years in cloud/hyperscale networking or data center capacity planning7-10 years experience leading high functioning teamsAbility to communicate information to senior leadership in a clear and concise mannerAbility to manage internal and external stakeholders to tight deadlines and often shifting prioritiesAbility to work cross functionally with sourcing, Supply Chain, Delivery, Network Capacity, Networking and Connectivity teams, and gain buy in to achieve a common goalThe role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.About UsAs a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow’s technology to tackle today’s problems.
