Job Description
Handle warranty accounting activities and ensure compliance with accounting GAAPs, policies, and SOX controls on all procedures.
Perform month-end and quarter-end activities including preparing and reviewing journal entries.
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, close analytics, variance analysis, and ad hoc reports.
Collaborate with Quality, BU finance, and other stakeholders to ensure warranty procedures are based on up-to-date information and data.
Manage internal and external audits.
Support business initiatives and address risks and concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields.
5 years+ working experience in the finance area is expected.
Expert level of analytical skills to manage large data sets in various dimensions.
Proficient in Excel.
Excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits Details
An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and geographic location.
The salary range is applicable for jobs performed in California, Colorado, New York, or remote jobs that can be performed in these states. This range may be modified in the future.
You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan and may also be eligible for our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents.
