Our client is a rapidly growing SaaS and entertainment company with revenue > $30M. They are seeking an accounting leader to join their teams as a Controller.Responsibilities:
Lead preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting that enables the business to make optimal decisions.Drive the month-end close process and seek continuous improvement in the rigor, speed, and accuracy of reporting.Review all month-end close activities including general ledger accounts and balance sheet accounts.Establish and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP best practices.Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial reporting and partner with the Finance team to analyze monthly operating results against budget.Manage annual audit, serving as the main point of contact with external auditors.Qualifications:
Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Accounting.CPA, Big 4 background.10+ years minimum experience, with at least 1-2 years as a controller for a Company with revenue exceeding $50M.Experience with NetSuite a plus.Assisted with the scale of a business and have the ability to interact cross-functionally.Prior IPO experience or exit from VC, Series B+ preferred.Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP.What's in it for you:
