Senior Cardiovascular Technologist in Cardiac Cath Lab Unit

Missoula, MT
Overview:
Join our dedicated team as a Senior Cardiovascular Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab Unit. In this role, you will assist with a variety of technical procedures including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, as well as open surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician. You will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality patient care and imaging within our Cath/Diagnostic Imaging Department.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with and perform a range of technical procedures including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures.Participate in all daily duties essential for delivering high-quality patient care and imaging.Obtain optimal radiographs and assist the physician in maintaining an aseptic environment.Monitor patient conditions and demonstrate appropriate responses to any changes.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment and supplies, assisting with their use as needed.Be available for on-call shifts as required.Qualifications:Education and Certification:Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program.Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist certification or National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification.Upon hire: National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International or National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.Upon hire: National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.Upon hire: National Provider ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.Experience:Minimum of 4 years of experience in Interventional Cardiac, Electrophysiology, or Interventional Radiology.
