The Senior Sales, Retail Alternatives position will play a key role in building relationships with RIAs, Banks, Family Offices, and other intermediary channels to position Wilshire as a key solutions provider with a growing array of institutional quality fund offerings. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing and impactful product area for Wilshire. You will work closely with Senior Management, Alternative Investment, Sales and Client Services, and Product Development Teams. Day-to-day activities include conducting research to identify potential clients, devising effective outreach strategies, and leveraging marketing materials to promote our investment offerings.What you’ll do:Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Wilshire Retail Alternatives productsDevelop and implement effective outreach strategies and lead advisor relationsArticulate the benefits of adding high-quality, private markets exposure to portfolio allocationCollaborate with Wilshire sales and marketing team to develop and update sales literature, marketing, and advisor education materialsMaintain CRM and database for all prospects and relationshipsStay abreast of market and industry trends for Alternative retail productsEnsure the involvement of appropriate subject matter experts to facilitate and close business deals effectivelyQualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience working with the RIA, Bank, and Family Office community and 5-10 years in direct sales and client serviceDemonstrable track record selling interval or tender offer funds, BDCs, or private investmentsRelationships among professional buyers and home office investment teamsIn depth knowledge of investment structures, buying cycles and key distribution channelsFINRA Series 7 and 63 requiredExcellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and conciselyDemonstrated results in developing and maintaining client relationsAbility to work independently, be results-driven, and goal-orientedCandidate must be collaborative, a team player, self-driven and possess strong integrity and professionalismAbility to travelAdditional Information

This position will work on a

hybrid model

out of our Santa Monica, Chicago, or New York officeWe offer a comprehensive benefits package including a collaborative work environment, generous PTO, 401(k) match, affordable & comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, CFA and other professional membership reimbursement, and more.The pay range for this position is $170,000-$250,000. However, base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering various factors, including location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a full range of health and financial benefit offerings, which will be provided in conjunction with an offer of employment.
