Job Description
Lead and manage the financial reporting and GL accounting team, including day-to-day operations, training, and performance management.
Oversee the closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS .
Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording and classification of all financial transactions.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity.
Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., sales, operations, tax) to gather and consolidate financial information.
Analyze financial data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
Stay current with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, SEC regulations).
Prepare and support the external audit process.
Research and provide documentation on technical accounting matters.
Qualifications:Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Financial Reporting or GL Accounting Manager.
Big 4 public accounting firm experience a strong plus.
In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proven experience in leading and managing an accounting team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP is a strong plus).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Additional Information
The expected annual pay range for this position is $124,000 - $186,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities and commission pay. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
