We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Staff Accountant
to join our Finance and Accounting team. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes, account reconciliations, external audit support, and financial reporting.. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of GAAP, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

As our
Senior Staff Accountant , you’ll be responsible for helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records across multiple key areas of the general ledger and financial statement analysis processes, including but not limited to sales revenue reporting, accounts receivable (A/R), expense accruals, periodic account fluctuation analyses, and general ledger coding management. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the development and implementation of process and system improvements in accounting operations.
HexClad is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Accounts Receivable (A/R):
Manage the accounts receivable process, including customer invoicing, payment application, and follow-up on overdue accounts to ensure healthy cash flow.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, working closely with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory reporting and valuation.
General Ledger:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting principles.
Month-End Close:
Participate in the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to provide insights into financial performance.
Audit Support:
Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and assisting in audit inquiries.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting operations and contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and systems.
Requirements
CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Preferable BIG 4 experience or public accounting.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry a plus.
