Job Description - MRI Technologist - BAYLOR (2301175)MRI Technologist - Night shift - Eligible for a $20,000.00 Bonus!Who you are:As a MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are our greatest asset. You are the subject matter expert in operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners. Your calm bedside manner is evident in how you communicate with our patients, giving them the best experience, while you maintain a safe MRI environment for patients and visitors.What you’ll do:Prepare patients with proper positioning and perform a variety of Magnetic Resonance procedures.Perform scan protocols prescribed by radiologist to include proper technique and pulse sequences.Start intravenous lines, prepares, calculates appropriate dosage, and/or administers contrast media, i.e., orally and/or intravenously.Recognize emergency situations, initiates code procedures, and administer first aid/CPR.Utilize sterile techniques to prevent cross contamination to patients and instruments.Demonstrates adequate anatomic positioning skills while using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with ACR recommendations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.What you’ll bring:2+ years’ experience as an Imaging Technologist and one year of MRI preferredGraduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.Current registration with New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging.Registered or registry eligible with ARRT or ARMRITIV Certified or must complete IV certification within 90 days of hire.American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.WORK SCHEDULE:Work 36 hours, but get paid for 40 hours!!!Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6p-6a• Variable 24/7 coverage.• Ability to arrive at the hospital within 60 minutes when on call.• Must be able to take call as needed.Who we are:Catholic Medical Center (“CMC”) is a nonprofit, regional health system committed to delivering the highest quality and most advanced healthcare to patients across New Hampshire.
