Summary

The Commercialization Manager will develop and own the process of product innovation from product sunrise to sunset. While also functioning as the key project manager for larger supply chain and company initiatives. This position will collaborate internally and externally to guide the plan-source-make-deliver activities related to Traditional Medicinal product offerings. The ideal person will have experience in project timeline creation, cross-functional team management, process development, and working knowledge of innovation, stage gate, and discontinuation processes. This role reports directly to the Director of Contract Manufacturing.

Essential FunctionsLead overall commercialization of New Product Development for Supply Chain.Manage process to efficiently complete discontinuation of item with cross functional team.Manage process to approve/deny discos.Work cross functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Procurement on potential discos.Discontinuation management:Document review and approvals via Master Control.via Monday.com.Manage ERP System Updates:Champion ideas and opportunities for process improvements.Lead cross-functional project status meetings and post launch reviews.Use proactive problem-solving skills to influence the project timeline, identify and communicate critical hurdles throughout the project.Ensure timelines are adhered to by employing a variety of negotiation and influencing tactics to ensure coworkers and projects remain on time.Develop project specific timelines based on functional expertise, and in partnership with cross-functional teams for each project.Manage cross-functional relationships with the key stakeholders to effectively lead each project.Apply contemporary project management techniques (Agile and Waterfall) to execute projects while improving the effectiveness of the organization via business process improvements.Assess waste risk potential due to inventory and or volume commitments.Provide launch risk assessment for Leadership to make strategic decisions; analyze cost of ingredients, and packaging, and determine risk of ordering ahead of trials to avoid out of stock situations.Manage all aspects of co-pack projects at 3PLs including quality control, inventory management, and ongoing production.Execute Supply Chain go-to-market strategy from an innovation lens.RequirementsExperience/Education:Previous experience as a Manager or Sr. Analyst in 2 or more of the following Supply Chain functions: planning, manufacturing, or distribution. 5+ years’ experience providing policy and process tracking and development support for a consumer products company.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of independence and resilience.Ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively internally and externally.Team player, self-directed, and creative problem solver.Good listener, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.Strong business acumen and professional.Technical Skills:Outstanding computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams).Travel Requirements:

10-20%.Office Hours/Location:This position is based in Rohnert Park, CA. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 5:00 pm. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to occasionally work remotely. Expected in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
