Family Practice - Family Practice | General Medicine Physician Van Nuys CA (LA)Full time or Part timeGreat Benefits!!We are looking for a Family Practice or General Medicine physician to join our medical practice in Van Nuys CA (Greater LA). Our team is focused on providing the best in healthcare services for all patients. From general medical care to preventative care and recovery, our mission is to ensure those who are underserved in our communities have access to the best possible medical care.Duties:
Providing patients with primary medical care services within the standard of care.Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate.Analyze reports, test results, medical records, and examinations to diagnose conditions of patients and propose treatment options.Prescribe pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up to date before prescribing medication/treatment.Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.Ensure medical records are legible and complete in a timely manner.Work closely and communicate effectively with all colleagues/employees.Requirements:
Minimum one (1) year of experience in providing primary care to patients.Current license to practice medicine in CA.Board-certified or board-eligible in family practice/general medicine.Current certification in BLS/CPR.Schedule:
Full-time (32 to 40 hours), part-time benefitted (30-32 hours), or part-time (under 30 hours).Salary:
$120 - $150 per hour.Benefits:
