Assist residents on and off the bus.Load groceries and other purchased items into the bus/van.Makes miscellaneous runs for administration errands as necessary.Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.Completes a safety check of the applicable vehicle (i.e., car or bus) before transporting residents to and from scheduled activities and appointments.Transports vehicle(s) to service locations for routine preventive maintenance on the vehicle(s) as scheduled by the supervisor.Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
High school education is required. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.Valid Commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred. Must have a good driving record.Must maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with the residents at all times.Must be able to interpret and follow map directions.
Many community roles may require we ask about your vaccination status. This could include Hep B, flu, and COVID-19 vaccine status.
