Job Summary

The Account Sales Manager Works to foster conference and convention center patronage throughout the greater Charlotte area that strengthens hotels and venue partnerships.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Job DutiesDevelop business for the meetings and events industry for the city of Charlotte.Management of robust sales funnel with a primary booking lead time of 18 months or sooner.Partner with National Sales counterpart on in market sales activations.Prospect efforts through account research using, MINT, LinkedIn, SimpleView and other industry platforms.Develop and maintain engagement with market-appropriate business event industry associations and membership organizations.Maintains sales accounts in Visit Charlotte’s CRM (SimpleView).Solicit organizations and process inquiries to attain all established measurable goals.Prepare, organize, and implement sales related activities such as site visits, tradeshows, and sales outings.Create comprehensive proposals and sales presentations.Present to meeting planners both virtually and in person.Collaboration with team members to achieve team and sub-team goals and support customer needs.Collaboration across all branches of the CRVA to provide excellent customer service and develop brand awareness.Creates and maintains strong partnerships with CRVA partners.This job will have periodic access to confidential data including company records and/or minutes, customer quotes, product costs, and company plans, designs, and/or programs.This job is responsible for budgetary analysis, preparation, and review assistance.Always maintain professional demeanor.Consistently deliver the best in customer service. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Scope of Responsibility
