Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and passionate Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental team in Al Khobar. Your role will involve conducting environmental assessments, developing strategies to mitigate pollution, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive environmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

Prepares technical reports, in whole or in part, depending on the size and complexity of the document and key subject matter areas.

Performs moderately complex technical tasks or plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates project work for large work scopes.

Demonstrates technical competency in a combination of areas including site remediation, environmental planning & permitting or environmental compliance.

Conducts multi-media sampling including soil, groundwater, vapor, indoor air, asbestos, and other regulated materials.

Conducts emergency response efforts in response to spills or other client requests.

Conducts oversight of subcontractors, including drillers, remediation contractors, and emergency response contractors.

Evaluates compliance of subcontractor work against technical specifications and scopes of work.

Demonstrates and maintains competency in a diverse set of environmental regulations.

The position will entail office work and field work on a variety of projects primarily for industrial and commercial clients.

Develops and establishes key client relationships.

Supports proposal response to client opportunities, including technical scope of work, pricing, and support of commercial terms.

Supports the preparation of project execution plans and delivers on selected project, as proposed to clients.

Assists in subcontractor procurement and coordination and site visits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering.

0-2 years of experience.

Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Bilingual English and Arabic.

Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and organizational abilities.

Willingness and ability to interact with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, clients, and develop effective teamwork relationships.

Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required.
