FMG is a dynamic and growing national litigation firm based in Atlanta, GA and we are seeking an Events Manager to join our growing team. The Events Manager will oversee the planning and execution of our firm's external events. This role focuses on developing and executing multi-practice/team events and sponsorships that enhance the Firm’s brand, visibility, and business goals. The Events Manager will also be responsible for reporting meaningful metrics to improve event efficiency and demonstrate the value of our marketing investments. This position will manage vendor selection and relationships to ensure service quality, value, and cost-effectiveness, and work on projects to improve event processes, reduce costs, and increase engagement.Essential Job FunctionsPlan and oversee all aspects of event logistics, including site selection, catering, transportation, and audio-visual equipment.Serve as primary point of contact for internal employees and external stakeholders for event logistics; ensure that appropriate external participants and FMG attorneys have been identified to participate in the event.Work closely with Marketing Director to monitor and control event budgets by preparing periodic cost reports to support decision making and event evaluations.Develop and implement a methodology to estimate Return on Investment (ROI) generated by an event as well as a process for identifying new business that was obtained as a result of the event.Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution; ensure that FMG follows up appropriately with clients or prospective clients attending events.Create and manage event timelines to ensure deadliness are being met.Ensure all events meet organizational standards for quality, compliance, and brand consistency.Use technology to set up, monitor, moderate, and troubleshoot virtual events, guaranteeing quality and serviceability.Develop, document, and implement standardized operating procedures for event planning and execution.Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and pipeline management through events.Utilize data to optimize event performance and drive continuous improvement.Provide timely replies to all event related inquiries.Required Experience/Skills7+ years of hands-on experience in events management within B2B industries, preferably within the legal and/or insurance sectors.Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Must be energetic, motivated and highly detailed oriented.Experience in managing both on-site and virtual events in a professional environment.Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.Ability to travel and manage events onsite within the US.Experience managing event-related vendors to produce successful events.Self-starter attitude with the ability to initiate and lead projects and programs.EducationHighschool Diploma RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, preferred.What we offer youCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and visionHSA and FSA plan available for employees and dependentsWork-life balanceGenerous PTO policy401K plan including a 3% Employer Safe Harbor contributionFirm paid life insurance and long-term disabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramYear-end bonuses and referral fee programsEEO StatementFreeman Mathis & Gary, LLP (FMG) is committed to providing equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees by maintaining a workplace free of discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or other protected group status as provided by law.
