The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling business and construction litigation matters, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and be capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.Duties:Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, lien-related documents, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and litigation proceedings.Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior attorneys.Take fact and expert depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.Analyze facts of the case and conflicts in legal matters, develop litigation strategy, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.Communicate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.Maintain client files to ensure up-to-date information is available to other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:5 years of experience in business and construction litigation matters.5 years of strong, relevant, verifiable experience in a similar role.Judicial clerkship experience or demonstrate strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must possess excellent time management and problem-solving skills.Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Knowledge of business and construction law.Ability to analyze complex legal issues.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Time management and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and organizational skills.
