The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, prior law firm experience, and, preferably, clerkship experience.Job Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communication.Assist in negotiations and settlements.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Georgia State Bar (active and in good standing).3-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and class actions.Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.Excellent oral advocacy and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Georgia State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research databases such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.Experience with e-discovery tools and platforms.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
