Job Overview:

As the HeadPickleball Professional, you will be responsible for leading and managing allaspects of our pickleball programs, including coaching, running leagues,running open play, organizing events, and fostering a positive and engagingpickleball community. This role requires a combination of excellent teachingskills, leadership abilities, and a deep passion for the sport.Key Responsibilities:

Pickleball Coaching:

Provide high-qualitypickleball instruction to players of varying skill levels, includingprivate lessons, group clinics, and specialized workshops.

Program Development:

Design and implement acomprehensive pickleball program that caters to beginners, intermediate,and advanced players. Create lesson plans, drills, and curriculum toenhance player skills and enjoyment.

Event Organization:

Coordinate and executepickleball tournaments, leagues, and social events. Ensure a seamlessexperience for participants, from registration to awards ceremonies.

Community Engagement:

Foster a positive andinclusive pickleball community by actively engaging with members,organizing social gatherings, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere at thefacility.

Staff Management:

Oversee and mentor assistantcoaches and support staff. Conduct regular training sessions and provideconstructive feedback to enhance the overall coaching team.

Sales and Marketing:

Promote and sellpickleball programs, lessons, and events. Effectively communicate programvalue to expand participation and enhance outreach.

Equipment Maintenance:

Monitor and maintainpickleball equipment, ensuring that all courts and playing areas are safeand well-equipped for players.

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’sdegree in sports science, physical education, or related field preferred.

Must have a certification to teach Pickleball by arecognized pickleball organization.

At least 1 year of experience coaching pickleball orsimilar sport, with a proven track record of success

Experience in leading and motivating a team ofcoaches and support staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to connect with players of all ages and backgrounds.

Strong organizational, leadership and sales skills,with the ability to manage tournaments and events and oversee staff and volunteers.

Knowledge of pickleball rules and regulations, aswell as experience with equipment and maintenance

Basic computer skills and proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to50 pounds.

Must be able to move quickly around the facility toassist members and guests.
