We offer a wide variety of competitive benefits, services and programs that provide our employees with the resources to pursue their goals, both at work and in their personal lives.Position Summary:As a Digital Biomarker Lead, you will oversee all aspects of digital biomarkers-related research, from benchtop experiments, data analysis to validation and deployment of digital health technologies (DHT) in large-scale clinical trials. You will manage key stakeholders across the clinical development organization to support scientific strategy and development of digital biomarkers for BMS clinical development portfolio. This position is ideal for passionate and curious individuals. You will act as a go-to person for digital biomarkers development and provide technical guidance to study teams and stakeholders. You will champion strategic partnerships with technology vendors, research institutions, and internal stakeholders. By fostering collaboration and navigating regulatory pathways, you will lead the development, implementation, and validation of digital endpoints, shaping the future of clinical research.Key Responsibilities:Conduct landscape research to identify digital biomarkers aligned with asset development needs.Create business cases, develop hypotheses, plan pilot and concept testing, and execute surveys to progress innovative digital health solutions on a trial, program, or corporate level.Identify sensor technology and endpoints to reflect functional concept. Lead development and implementation of verification studies, UATs, and execution of DHTs in clinical trials.Collaborate with the data science team on data analysis plan for clinical digital health data analysis.Liaise with Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Patient Engagement, Drug Development IT, Clinical and Medical teams on developing endpoint qualification strategy.Lead on digital & device-facing aspects of study: protocol, usability, tech validation, training, delivery and implementation, data transfer and management.Establish vendor relationships with fit-for-purpose digital sensor providers and tech R&D companies.Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends and opportunities through qualitative research, insights, and market analysis.Continuously pursue new opportunities that benefit clinical trials and present solutions to internal stakeholders.Qualifications & Experience:Understanding of the digital health field and clinical drug developmentStrong scientific background in digital biomarker researchProven knowledge of or experience with clinical trial development process and use of clinical technologiesAbility to understand and implement the strategic direction and guidance for respective clinical studiesA data driven approach by planning, gathering information, mitigating risks, and executingEffective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation abilities)Demonstrated interpersonal & leadership skillsProactive and self-disciplined, ability to meet deadlines, effective use of time, and prioritizationAn awareness of relevant industry trendsKnowledge of GCP and regulatory guidelinesEffective project management skills, cross-functional team leadership and organizational skillsMasters Degree required with minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience OR PhD (preferred) with minimum 8+ years of relevant industry experience.On-site ProtocolBMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work.
