Casualty Associate Attorney

A law firm in Tampa, FL, is actively seeking a skilled Casualty Associate Attorney with at least 4 years of litigation experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the defense of Rideshare Liability, Product Liability, and various General Liability cases. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an attorney to contribute their expertise to a dynamic legal team.Duties:Provide legal support in defending Rideshare Liability, Product Liability, and General Liability cases.Assist in the management of caseloads from inception through resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation issues.Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.Attend court hearings, conferences, and mediations.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies.Conduct and defend depositions.Engage in settlement negotiations when necessary.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in Florida.Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience.Experience in Rideshare Liability, Product Liability, and General Liability cases is preferred.Skills:Strong litigation skills with a focus on liability cases.Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.Proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.A detail-oriented and organized approach to caseload management.
