The Director of Sales is responsible for bringing our high performing sales organization to life! Responsibilities include: on-boarding new Design Consultants and giving them the tools for success. The role will partner closely with the Vice President of Sales and will be focused on ensuring all locations exceed performance goals and continue to consistently improve.

Responsibilities:
  • Management of Inside Sales team, Design Consultant Support team, Customer Retention, and Sales Training teams
  • Oversees Sales Management and ensures the success of all 7 markets
  • Assists in the expansion into new markets
  • Responsible for the implementation, optimization, and management of the Express Flooring training program.
  • Develop and manage Field Trainers
  • Reporting: Regularly share insights, forecasts, bottlenecks, and other information to ensure the team is executing our processes and finding ways to consistently improve results.
  • Develop training content focused on product knowledge, selling processes and other relevant areas to ensure associates have visibility to modern, relevant training content
  • Develop training mechanisms - in person, digital, etc. - to ensure training effectiveness and long-term positive impact on the sales organization
  • Partner with sales leadership (VP and Sales Managers) to leverage performance analytics and direct training activities
  • Ensures that the sales managers and teams are provided with the tools, programs, and resources to be best in class
  • Partner with the marketing and promotional teams to drive promotional effectiveness through the selling process
  • Develop a sales leadership training program to further develop sales managers and regional directors

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience, Required
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a training, commission sales or related field, Required
  • 4-5 years Supervisory Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraint
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced with building professional Power Point presentations is a must
  • Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel

*Compensation range reflects the base range, there is a bonus program in addition to the range

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.

Compensation Range

$140,000-$150,000 USD
