Summary:
Responsible for planning, implementing and managing all group level sales activities for the Commercial Sales channel. This position acts as a key Commercial Sales liaison with the District level installation and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve Area's sales growth plans. Regularly monitor results and address issues and concerns that impede positive results.
  2. Mentor, motivate and coach sales management and sales reps on lead generation, sales process, recruiting, and other critical areas. Develop and implement performance improvement programs for Sales
  3. Management and Sales Reps to improve effectiveness and to address performance gaps. Conduct performance reviews/assessments, as required.
  4. Utilize Performance Metrics continually to ensure "what gets measured, gets done."
  5. Implement ADT defined strategy to ensure consistency of field sales activities.
  6. Ensure Sales Channel(s) strategic initiatives are executed in accordance with corporate goals and area budgets. Communicate new policies, sales techniques, and other modifications to sales management and sales reps.
  7. Advocate operating efficiencies to achieve revenue and profit goals for a successful Sales Program in each District within the Area.
  8. Research and share "Best Practices" with the Sales Management and Sales Reps
  9. As new products and services are introduced, oversee sales team to ensure consistency in implementation.
  10. Recruit, interview and select new sales managers and reps, as required.
  11. Work with the Regional Director and the Sales Channel Leader(s) to ensure all financial and operational performance targets are met.
  12. Other duties, as assigned.

Education:
  • College degree.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales management of a sales organization in outside B2B sales.
  • Experience in the use of CRM systems such as salesforce.com to manage sales process and funnel.
