This position is part of the RNA Product Management team located in Fargo, ND and will be fully remote. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the mRNA Product Team and report to the Sr. Director of Product Management, responsible for revenue and share growth by leveraging your deep understanding of CDMO services, product/project management, and commercial execution. Developing comprehensive growth strategy solutions for our mRNA and LNP Services by utilizing data-driven insights to monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for success.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

In this role, you will have the opportunity:
- Lead the creation of complex, high-value proposals for our manufacturing services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness by partnering with Account Managers in identifying and developing new opportunities, providing expertise in crafting budgetary proposals, scopes of work (SOWs), and pricing.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our product portfolio, participating in client calls, acting as a liaison between Product Management and Commercial teams reviewing RFIs and RFPs, and developing training materials to enhance team knowledge and client engagement.
- Drive funnel progression from Stage 1 to Stage 2 and ensure smooth transition from Stage 2 to Stage 4.
- Oversee deal price management, including cost analysis and discount control, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing strategies and optimizing internal templates and tools for proposal development, driving efficiency and consistency in proposal creation and monitoring.
- Promote our product portfolio through various channels, including conferences, webinars, and client visits, to enhance market presence and client relationships by gathering and analyzing VOC and competitive intelligence to inform product planning, new product development and continuous improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, marketing, or product/project management, with mRNA industry experience.
- Proven track record in managing complex, high-value proposals and driving business growth in a technical, client-facing role.
- Strong analytical and financial skills with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Solution sales experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across teams.
- MBA or advanced technical credential is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years in the mRNA industry preferred.
