What You Will Do
Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management Ltd. is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic Quantitative Equity Team.
- Portfolio Management: Manage and optimize quantitative equity portfolios to ensure alignment with our investment strategies and client objectives
- Performance Analysis: Conduct performance attribution and risk analysis to evaluate performance and identify areas of improvement
- Risk Management: Monitor portfolio risk and ensure compliance with investment guidelines.
- Investment Workflow Improvement: Identify, propose and collaborate on enhancements to existing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our portfolio management capabilities.
- Model Development: Collaborate with other team members to provide ideas and support of our investment models
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the team, providing mentorship and guidance.

- Analytical Mindset - You think critically and creatively with a balance of investment intuition and statistical validation.
- Investment Judgement - You possess a thorough understanding of key drivers of business success, including portfolio construction, financial theory, economic models, and corporate financial statements.
- Thought Leadership - Demonstrated experience and success with investment intuition, judgement and decision making
- Self-Starter - You are motivated and willing to take personal accountability for quality and timeliness of work.
- Collaborative Approach - You thrive in a collaborative environment and value shared success. You proactively solicit and provide input and excel at communicating complex and technical concepts.
- Time Management - You have the proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple ongoing projects and daily responsibilities.
- Academic Training -Undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or related discipline. Completion of CFA or relevant graduate degree is considered an asset.
- Industry Experience - You have 5-10 years of experience in quantitative portfolio management, quantitative finance or a related field.
- Registered as a Portfolio Manager - You are currently registered or able to be registered as a portfolio manager in relevant regulatory jurisdictions
